Since the act came into operation on 1 May 2011, there has been much debate and discussion around this act, the implications of the regulations, as well as the perception that much change was brought about especially around the liability of company directors. 

Ewald Muller debates all of these issues with expert input from Rory Voller, Deputy Commissioner of CIPC, formerly known as CIPRO, and Professor Tshepo Mongalo, manager at the Regulatory Framework division, Business Registration Reform  Project.
